Since its establishment in January 1998, the company has continued to provide reliable services to its customers. Oceanlink Shipping Services Limited has handled a number of major clearing and forwarding projects in various companies around Africa, namely, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo. The company also handles imports and exports for individuals in the above mentioned countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, for both containerized and bulk cargo.

The Privatization of shipping agency in Tanzania (after 30 years of monopoly) has opened new opportunities for growth.
The company will focus more on cargo broking, consolidating its position in the market by using the already existing network to offer cargo leads to principals.
Freight Forwarding will continue to offer cargo to our lines agency division, and the company will maximize usage of its connection with International Forwarders in directing cargo to liner / charter principals.

Globalization is now a fact of business life, and the company will seek partnership with major shipping lines, shipping agencies, or major forwarders and seek to use the synergy from such linkage to be more competitive and capture a bigger share of the market for the mutual benefit of the partnership.
